MARY BURTON SETS SUSPENSE NOVEL IN CENTRAL VIRGINIA
Mary Burton has set her first single title suspense novel I’m Watching You in her home state of Virginia. The novel follows fictional homicide detectives Zack Kier and Jacob Warwick who are on the trail of a serial killer terrorizing metro Richmond. I’m Watching You is a December 2007 release under Kensington Books’ Zebra imprint.
I’m Watching You is Burton’s seventeenth novel. She’s written twelve historicals westerns for Harlequin and four short contemporary romantic suspenses for Silhouette Romantic Suspense. She is also the author of the non-fiction book, The Insider’s Guide to Direct Marketing.
In 2005, Burton’s The Unexpected Wife was a finalist in Romance Writer’s of America’s RITA competition and Wise Moves was 2006 nominee for the Romantic Times’ Critics Choice Award. I’m Watching You received critical acclaim from New York Times Best Selling author Carla Neggers who said, “Taut, compelling and emotional, I’m Watching You is romantic suspense at its most riveting. Mary Burton delivers a page-turner.”
